I would like to know if any of PC's Caesar Salad Dressings do NOT contain any animal enzymes. (The cheese used in the dressing may contain animal enzymes). So please let me know which Caesar salad dressings are totally vegetarian. Please let me know about the following 3 products:

1. President's Choice - Blue Menu Dressing Caesar Light (UPC 6038375670) 2. President's Choice - Caesar Dressing (UPC 6038311551) 3. President's Choice - Caesar Dressing Light (UPC 6038312917)

Here's the response that she received:

According to Ferrera Pan Candy Co Inc., the source of gelatin in Black Forest Gummy Bears and Gummy Bears is pork.

According to the Tim Hortons nutritionist, there is gelatin in Yogurt & Berries. The source of gelatin is animal-based and most likely pork.

I recently wrote to Danone Canada inquiring about a particular brand of their yogurt, which contains gelatin. Following is the response that I recieved via email:

 

Thank you for taking the time to write to us.

 

Gelatin is water soluble substance isolated by the action of prolonged heat on animal tissues, which are rich in collagen like bones. Gelatin is a protein used as a gelling agent in food preparations.

 

Danone uses bovine gelatin in his products.

 

You can be assured of Danone's consideration for all questions from its customers.

According to Cinnabon, their products DO NOT contain any pork ingredients, lard, beef tallow, rennet, and gelatin. However, they do contain ADIs such milk and eggs.
